Snoopy Cafe Officially Open! (Yokohama, JAPAN)

Snoopy Cafe is basically the concept of "Snoopy" + "Cafe", for lovers of coffee, cake, dogs and of course Snoopy! On the menu, you'll find Appetizers, soup and salads and entrees, but whats most popular is their Donuts! (It's probably also because of the box -pictured below)

The cafe has also put out their original "Original Katori Set" in order to celebrate it's opening. (below)

Hello Kitty Items limited to Europe

Kozy News found this weird at first, but after a while it kind of made sense.

The question was "why are items limited to Europe sold in Japan?", but then we thought, why not? Sharing had never been a bad thing, and when Kozy News took a look at the products, we were more than happy that this was the case!

While it has great european design, it doesn't carry the european price tag. Reasonably priced at 2,625 yen (round about $25), I'm keen on getting one for myself!! Though, numbers in Japan are limited.

Snoopy Town Japan

With news of many, if not all, Japan's Snoopy Town stores closing down at the end of March, it can sink the heart of the fan. In Tokyo especially, we see our favorite and most famous store, the Harajuku store close on the 26th March. I went to visit this store and the Yokohama Minatomirai Store to see what it had transformed into before the close.

I was expecting alot of sales, and clearance items and stuff all over the place. But no!

The store was half empty with "new item" posted on many shelves, probably only a handful of items on 30%-50% Off clearance. This was at both stores!

So behold! What this is saying is that Snoopy Town is resizing and remodelling, and before soon, we'll see a few stores sprout over the two cities of Tokyo and Osaka.

Here is a schedule:
1. Snoopy Town Mini - Tokyo Station Ichibangai Store (Open March 8th)
2. Osaka-Umeda Store - Inside Kiddyland Osaka-Umeda Store (Exp. 2008.4)
3. Harajuku Store - Inside Kiddyland Harajuku (Exp. 2008.5)

So rest assured, the good things will continue and the 40years that have seen Snoopy (Peanuts) in Japan, will undoubtedly continue! ( Tokyo Station store image below)
